Dietes bicolor
Dietes are tough, clumping perennials producing elegant iris-like flowers over long periods. Extremely adaptable to sun or partial shade, wet or dry conditions. Excellent for mass planting, water feature margins, and low-maintenance garden beds.
Site & establishment. Tough enough for civic and roadside applications where care is intermittent.
How we supply it. Plants reliably at scale across mass-planting briefs. Flowering display adds seasonal interest beyond the structural role. Low-maintenance specification: tolerates infrequent pruning and irregular watering programs.
Cape Nursery production. All Cape Nursery stock is grown 7 km from the Pacific Ocean, hardened to coastal sun and wind from propagation rather than acclimatised at point of sale. Specimens leave us biosecurity-traceable, and root-checked. National delivery is available; collection from Ewingsdale is welcomed Mon–Thu 7:30am–4pm.
